What an amazing place. We were invited in like family and closed the place down. It was like being part of a big Italian family. I can see why it was so heavily recommended. We would love to come back again and again!

Outstanding upscale Italian food in an old house with private rooms upstairs where it is less noisy. Food was excellent and our waiter JP, originally from Italy puts on a great show and watching him make one of their signature dishes was the hit of the night. Take your time, relax and spend time with friends for dinner here with their many authentic dishes. Parking is the only challenge as you will need to park on the street.

This is by far one of the best restaurants in town. Every visit there is something new to try, and every dish we've tried has been some of the best food we've ever had. This time is it was the NY strip with bourbon sauce with green peppercorn for me. 10/10 stars . The sauce is the perfect compliment to a perfectly prepared quality price of meat.

ROC exceeded our expectations. We just had a light meal of salads and pasta dishes, but everything was superb. The service was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. The home-made limoncello was the perfect ending to the meal. We felt like we were back in Sorrento!

ROC is undoubtedly one of Louisville's top 3 Italian dining spots. The food? Impeccable. From their specials to regular menu items, the flavors were incredible, and the pasta was homemade delicious. The atmosphere? Italian warm and inviting. We couldn't resist the Tuesday special, Cacio e Pepe prepared tableside. The presentation was top-notch, and the dish was creamy and perfectly seasoned. My short video, the making of ROC's Tuesday special, Cacio e Pepe prepared tableside, unfortunately was to big to upload. Not a problem, go to ROC and enjoy for yourself! Service was fun and excellent throughout, and the desserts and cocktails didn't disappoint, with many options, including both extensive wine and bourbon menus. Thank you Rocco Cadolini for for an exceptional warm delicious dining experience. This was our first visit. It won't be our last. We can't wait to go back.

Arrived early to grab a few drinks before dinner. The bartender did a fantastic job, everything we tries was absolutly delicious! She was friendly and gave us dinner recommendations and went in depth on the dishes we had questions about. We got salad and some other apps which were pretty good. Only thing I wish I had was more bread for the mozzarella. Dinner was fantastic. I don't remember what we got but the pasta was cookerld perfectly.and the flavor was amazing. The shrimp were perfectly cooked as well. Dessert was another hit with the sorbet and tiramasu. This 10 definetly a place we will be coming back to.

ROC definitely is in the top 3 of Louisville's fine Italian dining options. The food was impeccable, from their wonderful specials (both apps and mains) to their menu items. Flavors were amazing, pasta was fresh and perfect. We started off with two special apps, stuffed dates and fried mozzarella. The dates were some of the best the table had ever tried. The moz was good, but the fried zucchini strips that accompanied it were even better, especially in the spicy (almost like an arrabiata) dipping sauce. For mains, I had to try the Tuesday special, Cacio e Pepe prepared tabelside. Not only was the show and presentation top notch, but the meal was extremely creamy and perfectly seasoned. Others at our table had the butternut and sausage rigatoni and the bolognese pasta. Both of those were excellent in flavor, portion, and the right amount of pasta to non-pasta components. The pairing of butternut squash to sausage just worked, and the bolognese was wonderfuly rich and meaty, as it should be. Service was very good throughout the meal. Deserts and cocktails were also good, with the restaurant having many, many options, including an extensive bourbon menu. Highly recommend it for dinner date or just when you're craving some amazing Italian food. We will definitely be going back.

By far the best hole in the wall Italian restaurant within proximity. Make reservations accordingly. The Chef presences is amazing, he’s able to accommodate guests coming in as well as certain dish to make an appearance. He not only has fun doing it but making sure the customer is properly pleased at the same time rather than being stuck in the kitchen. Rather rare really. My family and I are definitely coming back. The food is more authentic and handmade than Grassa Gramma, lol y’all better watch out. I honestly prefer this location than any other location who considers “Italian” legitimate. Anybody thinking about coming here for any occasion, honestly prioritize it. Keep this place alive for the future to come. I don’t want this to go anywhere. Also yes it was our first experience as well, what are you waiting for? Dale!
